After School Club Lead

Overview

St. George’s Church of England Primary School is seeking to appoint an After School Club Lead to work under guidance from the Head Teacher to provide child care for pupils attending the After School Club.  

In addition, the After School Club Lead has overall responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children and staff and for the efficient day to day running of the club.

Personal attributes

The After School Club Lead will also be required to: 

  • Support the After School Club Assistants in the After School Club.
  • Organize and arrange the timetable of activities for the After School Club.
  • Be adaptable to different ages, to be non-discriminatory.
  • Provide extra support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Provide extra support for pupils with English as an additional language.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, use of Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
  • A friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach.

Salary & Benefits

Job Title:                                                After School Club Lead

Grade:                                                      A5 (full time salary £27,879.00 p.a. - £33,112.00 p.a.

Hours:                                                     15 hours per week (3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday),

Weeks:                                                    38 weeks per year

Actual Pro Rata Salary range:   £9,693.58 p.a. - £11,513.10 p.a.

Contract:                                               Part Time, Permanent
