Overview

St Mark’s C of E Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Before and After School Club Assistant to assist in the Lions’ Den childcare setting. To assist the leader in providing a caring, safe and secure environment for children to learn and develop through a variety of play opportunities. To assist in planning and providing an appropriate range of leisure activities for children between the ages of 4 and 11. To assist with all aspects of the childcare setting, including delivering play opportunities, ensuring that good hygiene and health and safety standards are met.

  • Applicants preferably should hold a Level 2 childcare relevant qualification or must be willing to undertake training for Level 2 Childcare/Playworker assistant qualifications.
  • Willingness to follow food hygiene regulations and obtain a food hygiene qualification if requested.
  • Ability to work as part of a strong, supportive team.
  • Assist with organising fun and educational activities and provision of high-quality childcare.

Salary & Benefits

Grade:                                               Aquinas Grade A3.1

Hours:                                                19 ¾ hours per week,

                                                                2 days Monday & Friday 7am-8:45am,

                                                                5 days Monday to Friday 2:45pm-6pm

Weeks:                                               39 Weeks per year

Actual Pro-Rata salary:              £11,948.95 p.a.

Full Time Salary:                             £25,434.00 p.a.
