• The Rochester Diocesan Board of Education

  The Rochester Diocesan Board of Education (RDBE) is a charity and a company that exists to support Church of England Schools, children’s and youth workers in the diocese of Rochester. RDBE Church schools are distinctive and inclusive and serve local communities in four local authorities of Kent, Medway and the London boroughs of Bromley and Bexley.

  There are 89 Church of England schools within the Rochester Diocesan Family of Schools (RDFS) who give a Christian education through the state sector to 22,110 children aged from 4 to 19. RDBE have a growing number of community schools who have close links to the diocese through the Affiliation Scheme.

  RDBE parishes employ over 40 children and youth leaders who work with hundreds of volunteers in churches across the diocese to encourage children and young people to grow in their Christian faith. All RDBE schools serve their local community as well as Christian families and a number serve large numbers of Sikh, Muslim and Hindu children, as well as African and African Caribbean Christians.

• The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership

  
  The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership brings together a wide range of educational partners, dedicated to supporting the development of leaders in education working towards a vision for education based on a Christian view of 'life in all its fullness' (John 10:10).

  They work to resource leaders at all levels of the education system by offering:

  • Networks: Bringing leaders together regionally to support, challenge and inspire each other, through collaboration, coaching and conferences
  • Programmes: Equipping school and system leaders with the wisdom, knowledge and skills to realise their vision for education.
  • Research: Ensuring leaders have access to a strong evidence base for their work through a depth of thinking and reflection on leadership, pedagogy and theology

  
  Through these 3 core strands, the Foundation aims to create and resource a movement of dynamic and creative leaders who are equipped and encouraged to support each other’s development, synergising the best in pedagogical and leadership thinking with rich theological reflection and personal development. Regional peer support networks provide the opportunity for schools of all shapes and sizes to work together to support each other’s development through rich pedagogical and theological reflection, through a wide range of regional, national and international events and connections.

• Bromley Schools Collegiate

  Established in 1993 to train teachers in local schools, they boast high employability and retention rates that demonstrate the quality of their training. Their Ofsted gradings of "Outstanding" for both Primary and Secondary teacher training make them one of the leading teacher training providers in the country. They train teachers in Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Greenwich and East Sussex.

  BSC aim to develop reflective, confident, skilled, adaptable, robust, well-rounded and resilient teachers. Their training is school centered, and influenced by the reality, challenges and rewards of working in schools that serve their local communities. Teachers are nurtured to support young people thrive and succeed. Their outstanding training is consistent and informed by a dialogue around effective learning.

  The training is designed to be progressive, so as to provide professional and personal growth, through a scaffolded work based learning model that responds to the needs of each trainee.

• Anglican Academy and Secondary School Heads

  
  At AASSH, they believe that their role is to:

  Secondary church schools and academies come in many shapes and sizes. Their settings range from inner-city to remote and rural. Some are a homogeneous community of Christian pupils, others are more mixed; many have large numbers of children of other faiths. But all church schools and academies share the same calling which is to give young people the chance to learn and grow in a distinctively Christian community that is inclusive of all. • KMT is an accredited provider of school based teacher training in the South East and across Kent.

  We welcome trainees from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience – be it recent graduates from university or experienced professionals looking for a change.

• The National Association for Able Children in Education

  All Aquinas academies have membership of The National Association for Able Children in Education (NACE). This has enabled teachers to network and collaborate with an international community of schools and to draw on NACE’s 35 years of experience. Through ongoing professional development teachers have become increasingly adept at meeting the needs of more able learners, and providing a challenging and enriching education for all.

  Aquinas and NACE share many of the same principles and beliefs. Aquinas academies make use of the membership to draw on the many opportunities and resources to develop staff including: meetups, clinics and webinars; resources; consultancy; and opportunities to join invitation-only events, research initiatives and consultations.

  Trust representatives have contributed to research projects and NACE seminars. Academies which are moving from good to outstanding practice make use of the Challenge Development Programme to audit and refine practice. Through the Trust’s More Able Network and core subject networks teachers and leaders are able to refine their practice.

  We believe that all children, regardless of background, should have the opportunity to realise their potential. When we address the needs of more able learners we create a curriculum and learning opportunities which allow all children to flourish. We have an ethos of high expectations and aspirations which leads to raised achievement for a much wider group of learners in a school.

• Thames South Teaching School Hub

  
  They are one of the 87 Teaching School Hubs designated by the Department for Education, created as centres of excellence for teacher training and development. Through their strong collaborative partnerships, they provide high-quality evidence based professional development to teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers. As the Hub for Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich they work with national, regional and local partners in order to meet the needs of their schools across all phases and settings.

  Teachers are the foundation of the education system. There are no great schools without great teachers. At Thames South TSH they believe that professional learning is central to school-led improvement and are proud to offer a gold thread of training and development from Initial Teacher Training through to Executive Leadership Qualifications. Through these development opportunities they hope to support in establishing strong professional development cultures within individual schools and across the Hub region, elevating the quality of teaching and ultimately improving pupil outcomes.

• The National College of Education is committed to ensuring a positive impact our learners, the schools they work in and the communities they serve. This is why we use surveys and a range of other data to measure the impact of our programmes.
  
  We look retrospectively at the personal and professional journeys of our learners through destination data, gauging the progress they have made as a direct result of joining the National College of Education and how this affects the incredibly important work that they do. We also look at the experience of our learners and request honest feedback about every element of the programme they are on. We take active steps to refine and improve their experience based on live and historic responses.
