Midday Supervisor

Overview

We are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor 12:15-13:15pm. The successful candidate will have a calm and positive manner with children. Previous experience of working with children may be an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.

 

Personal attributes

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Supervising conduct of pupils in the lunch hall and playground.
  • Setting up the lunch hall and cleaning after lunch.
  • Supporting and encouraging pupil’s social interaction and undertaking first aid as needed.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • First aid training/training in specific medical procedures as appropriate.
  • A flexible attitude.
  • Listening and observation skills.
  • Team working skills.
  • An ability to deal with parents and children with tact and sensitivity.
  • General experience of children and their supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A good attention to detail; and
  • A good sense of humour.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to support children and aid their development.
  • Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated, and cohesive team.
  • Have a friendly, helpful, caring, and flexible approach.

Salary & Benefits

Job Title:                                 Midday Supervisor

Grade:                                       Aquinas Grade A3.1

Full time salary:                  £25,434.00 p.a.

Hours:                                       5 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 12:15- 13:15 (1 hr per day)

Actual Pro-Rata:                 £3,025.05

 

Weeks:                                     39 Weeks per year term time only
