Aquinas Advisory Council (AAC) Members
Do you get on with people, like to learn something new and want to give something back to the community? … then being a volunteer Advisory Council member may be for you.
Formed in 2013, the Aquinas Trust (www.aquinastrust.org) is a Church of England multi academy education trust of one secondary and eight primary schools situated within the Diocese of Rochester and the London Borough of Bromley. We aim to offer all our young people an education where individuality is celebrated, talents are nurtured and progress is sustained from age 2 through to 19. With our strong emphasis on collaboration and with every academy placing Christian values, scholarship and excellence at its heart, we seek to ensure every learner succeeds and fulfils their God-given potential; an education truly without glass ceilings.
Aquinas launched the Aquinas Advisory Councils (AACs) in September 2016. They provide an exciting opportunity for individuals with skills and commitment to support one or more of our academies at a local level. By being a member of an AAC, not only will you provide Headteachers with advice, support and expertise but also act as a valuable sounding board for new ideas/initiatives. By working in partnership, you will enable the academy to continue to provide the very best it can for the children and young people in its care, whilst preserving its own distinctiveness.
If this sounds like you, then please complete the attached Application Form giving us a little information about yourself, your skills and experience. Full training will be given.
Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
