Breakfast and After School Club Assistant

Overview

Rye Community Primary School are looking to appoint new a dedicated and resourceful Breakfast and Afterschool Club Assistant, to provide childcare for pupils attending the Breakfast and After School Club.

Personal attributes

The successful candidate will be required to:

 

  • Offer the children a wide range of play activities and ensuring that the club offers the children a relaxed, informed and caring environment.
  • Set out activities before the children arrive and pack up at the end of the session.
  • Order and serve healthy meals/snacks to promote healthy eating.
  • Preparation of food and cleaning away.
  • Undertaking first aid as needed, following health and safety guidelines.

 

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, and use of Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial but not a requirement.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team.
  • A friendly, helpful, caring and flexible approach.
  • Open-mindedness, patience and compassion.

Salary & Benefits

Job Title:                                           Breakfast and After School Club Assistant

Grade:                                                ESCC Single Status Grade 3 Point 7 (FTE: £24,796.00 p.a.)

Hours:                                                15 hrs per week (7:30 – 8:30am and 15:15 -17:15pm, Mon- Friday)

Weeks:                                               39 weeks per year

Actual Pro Rata Salary:             £8,608.38 p.a.

Contract:                                           Part Time, Term Time, Permanent

Reports to:                                       Breakfast and afterschool Club Leader

Job Title:                                           Breakfast Club Assistant

Grade:                                                ESCC Single Status Grade 3 Point 7 (FTE: £24,796.00 p.a.)

Hours:                                                5 hrs per week (7:30 – 8:30am, Mon- Friday)

Weeks:                                               39 weeks per year

Actual Pro Rata Salary:             £2,869.46 p.a.

Contract:                                           Part Time, Term Time, Permanent

Reports to:                                       Breakfast and afterschool Club Leader

Job Title:                                           After School Club Assistant

Grade:                                                ESCC Single Status Grade 3 Point 7 (FTE: £24,796.00 p.a.)

Hours:                                                10 hrs per week (15:15 – 17:15pm, Mon- Friday)

Weeks:                                               39 weeks per year

Actual Pro Rata Salary:             £5,738.92 p.a.

Contract:                                           Part Time, Term Time, Permanent
